pixar up leapster game By S. Hamelin My kids loved the movie and they love their leapster games. So, this was an easy choice. My oldest is 6 and number two is 3 and they both have had a lot of fun playing this game. The boys are not always the most gentle with their things, but we’ve seen no damage in any of their leapster games and we started purchasing them over 2 years ago.

A litte old for my son By Heather Zweiback I bought this game for my son who just turned 5 and it seemed to be maybe more for 6 and up. He doesn’t play it because he says the games are too hard. I think he’ll like it in a year or so though.

I love Leapster! By K. Baird My kids love the Leapster games, but the cartridges are often quite expensive and then often times don’t work after prolonged use (most likely because little fingers get all over the prongs). Usually this can be fixed by cleaning them with alcohol. I usually watch Amazon’s great prices for lower priced Leapster Games and can usually find them under $15…especially around Christmas time. The Leapster is a great game system for young kids…durable (ours has lasted through 3 children) and fun…and best of all, EDUCATIONAL! Almost every game has something educational…whether it be reading, math or or as simple as learning letters and numbers. If you read the fine print on the cartridges, you will find games that are suitable for the age you are looking for…but my older kids will still play some of their favorite games for youngsters! My older kids love the “UP” cartridge…but my 4 year old says it’s too hard for him (although he loves the character).
